As the holidays draw near we find ourselves reflecting on everything for which we are thankful. At this time last year, thirty-one Cliveden Reach families came together and provided a Union Bridge family of 3 with a spectacular Christmas, complete with clothing, gifts, and food to last into the new year.
Please join us as we come together again to share good tidings with other Carroll County families who might otherwise go without. We've made a few changes this year which will allow us to reach even more families ...
Holiday Shop
Last year, we learned that many families in need did not get “adopted”. The Neighbors In Need program stocks a Holiday Shop with donations of new gifts for infants, toddlers, children, teens and adults. Family members are given the opportunity to select a few gifts that they truly want and need.
Food Sunday
We’ve also become aware that Carroll County Food Sunday, our local food bank, has seen an increased need for donations of food for the growing number of people who could use a little help feeding themselves and their families during these tough economic times.
How can you help? Neighbors In Need and Carroll County Food Sunday have provided us the following lists of suggested foods and gift items. If you'd like to participate, just drop off your new, unwrapped donations no later than Sunday, Dec. 13th to any of the following neighbors:
Sherry Gist - 701 Lythe Hill Ct
Kim Jillson - 705 Charingworth Ct
Missy Adkins - 508 Tylney Hall Ct
Jodi Mechem - 704 Charingworth Ct
Sue Hopkins - 700 Lythe Hill Ct
We'll take care of sorting and delivering the collected donations to the appropriate locations. Your generosity will help Carroll County families - moms, dads, kids, and grandparents - have a merrier Christmas. Thank you in advance for your participation!
